Available with either an 8 or 9 button front (large buttons) or a 12 button front (small buttons)
Belt loops and Sholder Tabs along with French Blue Piping is optionl also.
NOTE: My research has shown, there was NO standard Illinois State Issued Shell Jacket, all the above options have been seen on Original Images. (to be posted)

MOST New Your State Issued Shell Jackets had piped Belt Loops and Sholder Tabs.
The Inside back was unlinned, but the sleeves were lined with muslin and the inside front was lined with quilted brown pollished cotton with hand sewn twill tape covering the back seams.
